Daddy's Little Helper....

That's what I will call this post. Although I do have a full-time job, everyone at work and outside of work knows about "ME" and my creativity...YEAH! My supervisor's son, LINCOLN is turning 1 and needed some cool invitations. After a consultation with his wife whom stated, "Little Lincoln is truly a rough and touch little one", the first thing that POPPED in my mind was "TOOLS" and she agreed. Here's the invite...Mom and Dad loved em'.

Ode to New Jersey

Oh, how I miss thee
Let me count the ways!

I miss my hometown and homegirls. I wish my arms were long enough to hug you all at the same time. I miss the congestion, here in Florida is nothing but land and I find myself running in circles.

Oh, ode to New Jersey

It's bitter slience here, no police or ambulence music- no chit chat going on outside from raving neighbors. Oh how I miss thee, Let me count the ways!

Hmmm, ok I'm over it now.~ Keep representin'

Just because I thought.....

it was beautiful. How rustic and charming is this escort card table centerpiece. Metal planters stacked on top of each other largest to smallest gives each level room to add flowers, vegetables, and candles. The shape of the planter also gives a visual eye to the placement of the escort cards in a circular pattern around the planter. Hmmm, I wonder how gorgeous this would look with square planters?

So you say, "I don't like flowers!"

Ok ok ok, your not the flower type...That's fine, there are thousands of ways to get the tablescape you want for your event with out the use of flowers. Candles, lanterns, led lighting, branches, wheatgrass, and my most favorite element to any tablescape is the use of water be it plain or added food coloring the foundation offers endless possiblities. Like myself at my own destination wedding, I to did not use flowers for my tablescape...just conch shells, votives and photo of my daughter representing the table #'s for my guests.

Baptism...

So a week ago Nicole (a different Nicole from previous post) came to me saying, "My son is getting baptised"...I need invitations in less than a week. OK! It took me 2 days and this was the outcome and Kaleb's mom was very pleased.

More Calligraphy Escort Card Inspirations...

LHCalligraphy does it again!!!! This time spanish tile is the escort card with your guests name in calligraphy. And, who would resist the gold star escort cards hanging from a tree. Just Lovely.

Loving new directions!

I love everything calligraphy and these beautiful compass escort cards caught my eye from LHCalligraphy a seller on Etsy for $10. Great for nautical theme weddings or honoring your beau's favorite hobby. They are adorned with the guests name printed in calligraphy to escort them to their respective seating location...very unique, very chic!

Tiffany & Nicholas #2

So Tiffany and Nicholas wedding is fast approaching, exactly 29 days away as I write this! In a short time of 6mos. YIKES!!! I have helped sweet Tiff* plan the most important day of her life. From the invites, escort cards, centerpieces, coordinating....everything, you name it - I have been apart of.

All of the flowers used are going to be real cream roses...400 of them, YIKES again!!! that I will de-leaf and de-thorn in order to make all bouquets, cp's, and bouts. As a trail run for the bridesmaids bouquets I used the original damask ribbon that will be incorporated for this event. I had on deck red real roses, but then again cream roses will be used. The mock came out smoking!!!!

Tiffany & Nicholas

Tiffany came to me uncertain of the direction to go for her wedding. The venue she has chosen to marry her Mr.Right is at a historic museum with intimate flair. Black and White is the color scheme with a hint of Damask. After many thoughts about the layout of her invitation, this is what the bride and ExQuisite InVitation created.

Amongst the Invitation is other yum! including damask votives and damask matchbook mints.
